On August 4, 2021 6pm-9pm Jon Langford (Mekons, Waco Brothers, Bad Luck Jonathan) will be performing a FREE solo acoustic set at Blue Arrow Records as part of a dedication of a memorial garden created in honor of his bandmate, Joe Camarillo, who passed in January 2021.

Joe Camarillo’s family and friends posthumously provided a grant to the Collinwood nonprofit Waterloo Alley Cat Project in his memory. Joe loved and helped cats in his own Chicago neighborhood and saw firsthand the work of the WACP during his many trips to Cleveland while on tour. The funds, which will be used to feed & care for feral cats in the neighborhood, also helped create a memorial garden to honor Joe Camarillo’s generosity and kindness as well as serve as a memorial for the feral cats who have crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Jon Langford, punk rock pioneer and painter extraordinaire, will perform in-store as well as have his incredible art available for sale. All proceeds from the event’s drink sales will benefit the WACP. The Waco Brothers will be performing August 5th at the Music Box Supper Club for the club’s 7th Anniversary.
